Do you like the cheese? For East Village and Lower East Side residents who do, the Fromagerie at Whole Foods Bowery tomorrow becomes one of the best go-to cheese shops in the neighborhood—and, arguably, in all of the lands Below 14th. The aging room, which you're catching a glimpse of above, is said to be the first of its kind in any Manhattan supermarket; two or three WF employees will staff the room daily, cutting, weighing, and packaging the cheese. Per Florence Fabricant's report, the Fromagerie is under the guidance of Aaron Foster, late of Artisanal.
