Kate Moss/Topshop Collection At Barneys A Total Joke: Pt 1
Wednesday, May 9, 2007, by Leslie Price
Yes, this morning Racked waited outside the Barneys Co-op in Chelsea (18th Street between Seventh and Eighth Aves) for an hour and a half. Our goal was to get our hands on a few pieces of the Kate Moss for Topshop collection to see if the clothing was worth all the hype. This is what the line looked like at 9:30am (this outpost opened at 11am, while others opened at 10am). A few people in line erroneously believed that the store would be opening at 10am. One woman hadn't even seen the clothing; she came because she loved Kate.
Here's the line 5 minutes before the door opened. People were pretty impatient by this point.
