Another Beauty Store, Korres Natural Products, Heading Our Way
Monday, July 2, 2007, by Leslie Price
New Yorkers aren't hard pressed for beauty supply shops, but that hasn't stopped three non-native chains from setting their sites on our city. Today, the Post reports that Greek brand Korres Natural Products will join the already crowded product-purveyor playing field, battling Sephora, Bath and Body Works and newcomer Space.NK for city-dwellers' dollars. Korres, a high-end brand currently carried locally at Henri Bendel, Flight 001, Whole Foods and Sephora, offers skincare, haircare and suncare made of natural ingredients (plant extracts and essential oils). The beauty company is slated to open at least two NYC stores in the near future: the first at 110 Wooster Street in August, the second on Montague Street in Brooklyn Heights in September. Clear some space in your medicine cabinet.
