Mo' Banks: Chase Joins The Party On The Bowery
Monday, October 8, 2007, by Leslie Price
Fancy restaurants, a trendy hotel, luxe boutiques, Starbucks, Whole Foods—yes, the Bowery almost has it all. And now, the storied stretch of pavement is one step closer to Soho-ization. What you see here is Chase setting up shop on Bowery between First and Second Streets. When pricey establishments within the Avalon Christie cluster finally open, like Blue & Cream and Daniel Boulud’s as-yet-unnamed burger joint, this will be the closest ATM to hit before inevitable big spending ensues. How convenient.

I just walked by and saw this. Totally depressing. Has anyone found an alternative to New York yet?
