American Apparel's sale to New York investment firm Endeavor Acquisition Corp. is expected to close today. If the deal goes through, founder Dov Charney will receive 37.3 million shares or $526.1 million; we also expect that EAC will roll out a couple hundred more American Apparels, should they gain control of the company.
