Earlier, we cast a bit of doubt on the Post's scoop that Apple will open an outpost on the UWS. Well, we sniffed around, and damn if it isn't true. Though from her description of the place it sounds like Lois Weiss has never set foot inside an Apple Store, she did have her facts straight about the location. As you can see, the building above is definitely not Apple-worthy, so bet on Jobs requiring a full tear-down and rebuild. Upper West Side, you have finally arrived.
