Yesterday was a big day for Lord & Taylor. The venerable retailer unveiled their new rose logo, a revamp of the symbol they've used for the past 60 or so years. Fifth Avenue was awash in blooms as store awnings, window displays and shopping bags were all emblazoned with the orange and yellow flowers (the official color, per L&T pr, is 'sunrise'). Though it's all just part of a big marketing push by L&T execs, it is nice to see that the oldest department store chain in the US can still keep it fresh.
