Major League Baseball investigators tracked down Jose Canseco at a book reading in a Midtown Barnes & Noble yesterday, and reportedly pulled him into the bookstore's bathroom for a meeting. "Victor Burgos and Eduardo Dominguez, two members of Major League Baseball's newly formed Department of Investigations, visited Barnes & Noble at 46th and Fifth Ave. to introduce themselves to Canseco. 'We had no clue. They just showed up, out of the blue,' Robert Saunooke, Canseco's attorney, told the Daily News in a phone interview. 'They said 'We would like Jose to come help us.' We're like, 'Sure.'" [NY Daily News, ESPN]
