Soho: It has come to our attention that strange sneaker consignment boutique La Pizza Shop, whose logo was a pizza wrapped in shoe laces (it looked like a wormy meatball) is no more. You may recall that the store, at 129 Grand Street, was undergoing "renovations" back in April; it has now reopened as another sneaker boutique for your Dunk-buying needs, Global NYC. According to the salesperson who answered the phone there this morning, the two are not related: "We have nothing to do with La Pizza. La Pizza is gone."
