As of 9am today, Kanye West has been active on Twitter for 48 hours. In that time, he's visited Silicon Valley, had meetings at Facebook HQ, taken a private jet, had a new home theater installed and spent every other minute contemplating a new "king" theme for redecorating his place. And as Kanye navigates the Twitterverse and spills his business, he's also dropping brand names left and right and thus far, they're 100% luxury.
It began simple enough, when Kanye tweeted "I jog in Lanvin." Now, we weren't aware that Alber Elbaz designs jogging suits, but all the same, Kanye got high from the reactions to this and began to brag a bit more. Other brands name-checked by Kanye during his first few hours on Twitter: Versace, Hermes, Maybach and J. Press. Wait?J. Press? Isn't that Chuck Bass' go-to menswear label? It sure is.

As of now, Kanye assures his followers that he's not getting paid to tweet about his doings and these brands "yet," but his TwitPic of his new Versace couch (seen above) may as well be a billboard.
Kanye likes things, so we can absolutely expect more brand-related tweets. We just hope that he discovers some worthy independent labels to rave over, as we don't think we take seeing this horse again, which he apparently wants to buy.
