Turns out the rumors were true all along: Whitney Port's faux-reality-TV show, The City is officially canceled. Port confirmed the cancellation on Ryan Seacrest's radio show this morning:
"As of right now it doesn't really look like we're doing it anymore," said the 25 year-old fashion designer. When asked if it could possible move from MTV to another network, Port said, "No, at this point it's not."No wonder we've seen Port just about everywhere these days—hawking licensed products, "writing" books, and being the face of pretty much every e-commerce site on earth. What's Port got planned for the future now that she's off the boob tube? Watch this space.Much like her former West coast counterpart Lauren Conrad, Port already has her sights set on post "City" life.
"I'm working on some other things," Port said. "It's okay, one door closes and another opens."
