Not only did Macy's confirm the Karl Lagerfeld collaboration rumors this morning, but they piled more designers on the masstige fire. Before and after Lagerfeld's Macy's line hits the store's new "Impulse" designer concept in September 2011, more big names will hit the shelves. Those in the works right now: former John Galliano employee Kinder Aggugini, Vivienne Westwood, Paul Smith, Calvin Klein, Costume National, and Versace. Hmm...we wonder how H&M feels about this, because we'd argue that they'd be a better collab partner for a few of these labels (esp Vivienne Westwood). Regardless, we bet Europe is so jealous right now. [WWD, subscrip req'd; previously]
