You've heard the TSA horror stories—the allegations of inappropriate groping, the refusal to allow moms to take breastmilk through security, the singling out of celebrities and attractive women—but have you heard the latest? Now the TSA is after your Christian Louboutins.
Artist, designer, and producer Taz Arnold (a.k.a. Ti$a) nearly had his spiked Louboutin loafers confiscated by airport security on Sunday. He snapped a photo of the TSA officials ogling his $1,200 shoes and tweeted: "why did airport security TSA try and jAck my 'louboutin$' these are weApon$! wtf? killA $wAg!"
Sure, we've heard of killer heels, but luxury men's shoes with tiny decorative round-ended "spikes" are definitely not weaponry. What do you think?
What we want to know is: What does airport security do with all the stuff they take away from people, anyway? Has anyone else ever had any designer goods confiscated from them at the airport?
