Essie's new spring 2011 color collection is called "A French Affair"—and, naturally, is inspired by chic, understated French style. Unlike previous spring color collections, this year's offerings are more opaque than sheer. The colors, from left are Coat Azure, Kisses and Bises, Nice is Nice, Sand Tropez, Topless and Barefoot, and French Affair. (Our favorite favorite favorite is Topless and Barefoot—a super-neutral nude.)
These six colors aren't the only new shades Essie will be launching this season. The company tells us that they'll be launching a 100-shade color collection in the next couple of months. The range will include some cult-faves, trend-driven bestsellers, and special mini-collections. There'll also be 11 exclusive-to-retail new shades. Our fingertips wait with bated breath.
