Interesting fashion education news out of London today: over at Vogue UK, they've announced the search for a director to launch the Condé Nast International School of Fashion and Design. Based in London, the school will offer "foundation level, post graduate and further education courses in the areas of fashion and design," the announcement says. "The school will sit alongside London's other fashion education establishments, such as Central Saint Martins and London College of Fashion, which are considered some of the best in the world." This is a fascinating definitely one-to-watch brand extension for Conde Nast. Will the publisher-run school really be able to compete with CSM and LCF? And, more importantly, we be seeing a New York spin-off branch of the school next? [Vogue UK]
