The blog-merging/slaughtering following the $315 million AOL buyout of Huffington Post has begun. As previously reported, AOL's Politics Daily has been shuttered and all remaining staff will be integrated into the Huffington Post's politics division. Sources tell All Things Digital that AOL's celebrity blog PopEater will no long exist as a standalone destination, but will be integrated into the Huffington Post's celebrity reportage. And Stylelist, the AOL fashion and beauty blog will change its name to Stylist—dropping the "e" and the "L"—but will remain a standalone site and will absorb AOL's Shelterpop home blog, renaming it Stylist at Home.
