Lucky is the latest magazine to jump on the social shopping bandwagon—GQ has partnered with Gilt and Esquire has teamed up with JCPenney's new Clad.com venture—and announced its partnership with ThisNext.com. The cobranded shopping site, which launches today, will be accessible through LuckyMag.com and ThisNext.com and will allow shoppers to create personalized "shopping guides" from all the products featured in the latest issue of Lucky. The magazine's editors and brand partners will also curate shopping guides—you know, for inspiration and an easy way to find that super-cute dress you saw on page 58.
"Lucky strives to make shopping an informed and fun experience for our readers, who are among the most social shoppers on the planet. When we saw ThisNext.com’s new platform, there was no question they would be the best partner for us," Lucky EIC Brandon Holley said in a statement. “Our mutual vision is to enable women to experience online shopping with the friends and trusted tastemakers who help them decide what to buy. That’s what our audience wants, and that’s the online environment where our brand partners want to be."
