Opening Ceremony co-founder Humberto Leon interviewed designer Christopher Kane for the Opening Ceremony blog and asked him why he uses neon all the time. The answer? Because it scares the bananas out of people: "I have only used neon twice, actually, but I love that people associate neon with my work. I guess I just love the intensity of it. When you do so many collections in such a short space of time, you become bored with the norm—and it's a color palette that people fear." [Opening Ceremony]
