The New York Times scored an interview with ex-Vogue Paris editor Carine Roitfeld wherein they asked her about her resemblance to Iggy Pop, bondage, and the infamous scale in her office. Then they asked her about American fashion. She said: "I think that Americans, they love comfort more than Europeans. Americans created the T-shirt, the sweat pants, and they create the best sporting shoes. When I see a woman in the street, sometimes I think, Oh, it’s a bit too comfortable the way she is dressing, you know? And not in a nice way." [NY Times]
