Lifetime's new Project Runway-like competition series, Project Accessory, has just found its host: model Molly Sims, who has plenty of experience doing that kind of thing from her House of Style days on MTV. Joining her as judges will be Kenneth Cole and InStyle editor Ariel Foxman, so basically Lifetime has found a formula (or rather, Bravo did) and is running with it. Also, Sims was a guest judge once, so that was easy.
According to a press release, the show doesn't premiere until later this year, following the life-consuming Project Runway All Stars. You know the drill: 12 contestants compete, but this time instead of designing crazy dresses, they'll be designing (probably crazy) jewelry, belts, bags, shoes, and even headpieces. As far as her designer cred goes, Sims has her own jewelry line: the interestingly-spelled Grayce by Molly Sims, which we'll probably be hearing much more of once the shoe airs.
