Nina Garcia is all over the retail map these days. Coming on the heels of a style consulting gig for Target, the Marie Claire fashion director and Project Runway judge recently announced via Facebook that she'll be joining the board of ultra high-end e-commerce site Moda Operandi.
Target's cheap-and-chic philosophy couldn't be further away from Moda Operandi's model, which is aimed at women fashion-obsessed (and wealthy) enough to advance-order designer collections before they hit stores. Judging from her announcement, however, she appears to be intrigued by Moda Operandi's modern technology. In Nina's words "Fashion + internet = new shopping experience." Welcome to the World Wide Web, Nina!
