It's likely that Facebook already takes up the majority of the population's online time, but now it has begun to infiltrate real-life shopping time—or at least it has somewhere in Brazil. Every time an item is "liked" on retailer C&A's Facebook page, the "like" shows up on the physical hanger inside the store via a digital readout embedded in the hangers. So not only can you bring your friend's opinion along with you to the store, you can bring thousands of strangers' opinions. Store staff is also on hand to "poke" you, in case that's not annoying enough.
