Anyone who follows Leandra Medine's Man Repeller blog will be familiar with the term "arm party"—it's what Medine calls the stacks and stacks of bracelets she dons to go with pretty much any and all outfits. BaubleBar, which happens to sell stacks and stacks of bracelets, likes the concept, and the two have teamed up for a little jewelry shindig of their own. As of today, you can head over to BaubleBar to pick up your own bracelet stack: answer a couple style questions, and they'll pick out three to five Man Repeller-approved pieces for you based on your response. The set goes for $50, which is $25 less than the up to $75 you'd pay to buy each bracelet individually. Fun concept.
Funnily enough, in the very same post that Medine announces the partnership, she also suggests that just maybe, the term has run it's course. She writes: "While I have your attention, let's also open the floor to discuss the evolution of the arm party and whether or not it's appropriate that we maybe, just maybe, shelf it for a short while. The terminology, not the sentiment. Never the sentiment." Interesting timing, but since the floor is open... yes. Thoughts?
