We have until September until the head designer of the relaunched Schiaparelli brand is announced, so prepare yourselves for several months of wild speculation, rumormongering, and blatantly irrelevant wild card opinions on the matter. The latest of which is brought to you by Jenna Lyons, who fielded the inevitable "who will it be" question with an inventive deflection: Lyons told the New York Post she thinks 90-year-old Iris Apfel might be a good fit to head up the relaunch of the label. "She's so full of life, and she's got an incredible attitude... I don't think she'd want to, but I think she would be amazing." A politically savvy move on Lyons' part, and entertaining for us, too, since we got to photoshop an upside-down Schiaparelli shoe hat on Iris Apfel's head. This is going to be a fun four months!
