There was nothing subtle about the military theme at Prabal Gurung's fall 2013 runway presentation. Leather belts and harnesses by Zana Bayne, gold hardware polished to a shine, stately sashes, parachute silk, and even cargo pockets all made an appearance in the focused collection. As he told us back in November, that collection was inspired by love and all things romance. Put the two themes together, and you essentially have the plot of Anna Karenina. Russian novels for all in 2013!
