It won't be a remade classic
Alexa Chung has released the title—It—and cover of her book (above left, not to be confused with above right), which you can now pre-order on Amazon for $26.40 at current exchange. Though "it" isn't exactly search engine optimized, the word is kind of perfect for Chung. Her momentum in the fashion industry grew out of being a TV personality, sure, but more so for having some elusive "it" quality, being an "it-girl."
Also according to her own description of the book back in March and the one on Amazon now, the work will speak to that elusive "it-ness" with "writings," photography, and drawings. Amazon further explains, "With wit, charm and a refreshingly down-to-earth attitude, this gorgeously-designed full-colour book is a must-have for anyone who loves fashion, music and just about everything Alexa Chung." We're definitely in, but just to be clear: No rabid clowns then? Just one charming and down-to-earth rabid clown? Maybe? We'll find out on September 5.
