Hitler Teapot is back on the internet thanks to one Redditor. He posted with comment, "Saw the Hitler Kettle at JCPenney! In a glass case none the less," along with a picture of himself demonstrating the facial qualities of the teapot in question. It already has 288 comments (Feel free to skip them as they're mostly Hitler puns).
Recall, the teapot made the rounds in May when another Redditor spotted it on a billboard in Culver City, California. It subsequently invited a mini-"scandal" that added to the companies much larger problems, but in a strange way, the snafu was actually a good moment for JC Penney. The retailer was able to show its sense of humor in an endearing "we give up" kind of way. Still, it's confusing that the retailer would go through the trouble of taking down the billboard, only to put it on display in their home department. Thoughts?
