A Phoenix woman taking a shift as a Salvation Army kettle bell-ringer at her local Wal-Mart has been assaulted in a case of angry "Happy Holidays" versus "Merry Christmas" rhetoric come to life. Kristina Vindiola claims that as she said "Happy Holidays," to shoppers entering the store, a woman approached her. Vindiola explained, "The lady looked at me. I thought she was going to put money in the kettle. She came up to me and said, 'Do you believe in God?' And she says, 'You're supposed to say Merry Christmas.' And that's when she hit me."
The "Merry Christmas" vigilante then walked in the store, and Vindiola told the manager who called the police. Security footage wasn't enough to arrest the woman, but still. The wrong place at the wrong time seems to be at Arizona Wal-Marts near or around December 25.
