Kanye West dropped by the Seth Meyers' Late Night to discuss concerts, Margiela masks and his trials in the fashion community. Meyers, who happens to be impromptu comedic fashion darling favored by Vogue, was down to have the rapper elaborate on his troubles in that area.
Now, Kanye is a man of many metaphors and following them can be challenging. But basically he tells Meyers that like Michelangelo, he wants to work creatively in many forms (mostly fashion forms). First he drops, "Everything in the world is exactly the same." But don't worry, unlike that kid in your freshman dorm whose nickname was Wake 'n Bake, Kanye clarifies: "For me, I give you paintings, sonic paintings. So when I do fashion, I want to give you sculptures. The difficult thing for me that everyone doesn't understand is that I just want to use marble and make sculpture, but due to the fact that I'm a celebrity and all these different things, they're like no you can't do this. You have to do this kind of line." But this still means he's doing Adidas, right?
