T Magazine just published a Juergen Teller-lensed shoot with Queen Bey, and her hairstyle is a thing of beauty. The ombré locks are sideswept and scrunched into the kind of wet, beachy waves that are usually painfully unattainable even with all the sexy wet hair tutorials YouTube has to offer. If only we could come out of Splash Mountain looking this good.
The accompanying interview waxes enough poetic on Beyoncé that it's almost as if the Beygency is real and waiting to pounce. In one of the most entertaining bits, the author imagines the reaction of Beyoncé's competitors on the day of her secret album drop: "We can only imagine the feelings of Beyoncé's pop diva competitors, whose carefully plotted monthslong album rollouts were instantly rendered quaint, and moot. That whining, whirring sound you heard on Dec. 13, mingling with the strains of "Drunk in Love" — that was Lady Gaga, in her gloomy castle keep, chainsawing a meat dress into sackcloth."
Yikes. Just try to get that image out of your head for the next hour.
