Alexander Wang loves a luxed-out basic. His Objects line, which dropped its fifth edition this week, is dedicated to hypersexy versions of incredibly mundane things like a gold-tipped jump rope and a glossy cross-body canteen.
The timing of this capsule release happens to fall at the same moment the brand has been leaking the first looks at its H&M collab, out November. So far, all that's been shown has been a teeny boxing glove keychain and this textural logo closeup, which looks like it could possibly be impressed on a yoga mat.
At the Coachella announcement of the collaboration, Wang said, "There will be a new element of lifestyle offering that's a completely new way of approaching the collaboration." While the clothes and accessories will surely be knockouts, it seems like the designer is especially fascinated with everyday effects at the moment. We wouldn't be surprised if the collab was chock full of fast fashion Objects.
