The anti-thigh gap movement known as "stuffing" is quite literally that—women stuffing themselves with the same kind of fervor that other women have when it comes to avoiding food in order to achieve a thigh gap. Styleite describes it this way: "Professional "stuffers" are people who feel a sexual desire to lose their thigh gaps in favor of boobs, rolls, and bellies."
One professional stuffer named Crystal detailed her climb from 157 pounds up to 275. "I keep nonperishable food by my bed and make sure that every time I wake up in the night, I eat something," she wrote on her blog. "And I drink anywhere from a quart to multiple quarts a day of heavy cream. Luckily, I am able to handle it."
Styleite reported that stuffing is officially regarded as a fetish and the girls who engage in it still consider the practice healthy. "We aren't idiots. Gainers like myself go to the doctor like anyone else," a stuffer named Jenny told Styelite. "I gain weight not by inhaling Twinkies, but by eating larger portions of the same foods anyone else eats. We have a sexual urge to be fat, but we also have the common sense to listen to a doctor."
