GIRLBOSS is no longer just a book, it's a movement. Nasty Gal founder Sophia Amoruso officially launched the GIRLBOSS Foundation yesterday, offering grants to female creatives specializing in design, fashion, music, and the arts. The GIRLBOSS Foundation will award three to five grants per quarter, and each grant beneficiary will receive project funding ranging from $500 to $15,000, as well as exposure through the GIRLBOSS and Nasty Gal websites and social media channels.
A quarterly selection committee of Nasty Gal staffers headed up by Amoruso will judge all grant applications based on criteria like creativity and innovation, financial need, business acumen, and more. Think you've got what it takes to embody the GIRLBOSS philosophy? Female U.S. residents over age 18 are eligible for the grant, click here to see application dates, rules, and how to apply.
