Victoria Beckham opened her first flagship boutique in London this week, and it looks more like an art gallery than a store. The 6,040-square-foot, three-story space, designed by architect Farshid Moussavi, features polished concrete floors, artfully hung clothes hangers, and no "ugly" cash registers—iPads are used for transactions.
Though the shop looks austere, Victoria says she wants the public to feel welcome. She joked with UK paper Metro: "I'll be behind the till, David will be on the door, with Brooklyn working as a Saturday boy."
Even if there are no David Beckham sightings, shoppers at Victoria Beckham's Dover Street store will stock a skate chain inspired by one David wears, WWD reports. Handbags, shoes, and sunglasses are also in stock, as well as the more affordable Victoria, Victoria Beckham label.
