There's a dearth of good sample sales this weekend, but a lot of stores seem to be offering Halloween or Election-themed discounts of 15, 20 or 30% off. Not especially thrilling, but it's something. It's another slow weekend for sample sales, but there are a few good ones going on around town—markdowns on Anna Sheffield's Bing Bang jewelry line and on clothing from Jackson, Johnston & Roe. Other than that, the Manhattan Vintage Clothing Show concludes today.
