If we told you there was a store in Portland, Oregon that carried hard-to-find brands like Warby Parker, Levi's Vintage, Nau, Red Wing Shoes, Freitag andChrome Salvage and let you browse while sipping a steaming cup of Stumptown Coffee, would you believe us? It's a stretch, we know, considering that it sounds too good to be true, but believe it. The name of the store? Lizard Lounge, in Portland's Pearl District.
Got an hour and a few hundred dollars? Judging from the range of Woolrich shirts and Archival bags draped from the various vintage industrial machines that inhabit the shop, that's all it may take to transform into the proper Portland look of "I hang out in the Ace and only order coffee from a Chemex." That goes men just as well as women.
Not in the mood for a classic Marinière-striped shirt or a watch made of wood? Those obsessed with accessories will find a home here, especially as Lizard Lounge carries the new TOMS Shoes sunglasses, a slew of Ray-Ban, the new and limited Shwood, and they serve as one of five showrooms in the US for Warby Parker.
Pro-tip: Shop during weekend brunching hours to make eyes over the racks at the hottest locals.
