Sarah Jessica Parker shows no signs of slowing down. After her shoe collection drops at Nordstrom this February and she's done touring the country to promote it, she'll jump on board the new jewelry site WeTheAdorned to help curate offerings on a weekly basis.
The site, developed by Los Angeles accessory design vets Tim McElwee and Cyia Batten, will require a membership, either "premium" or "nonpremium" status, and will feature small batches from the who's who of the jewelry world including Pamela Love, Dannijo, Fenton and Fallon, Erickson Beamon, Lulu Frost, Lizzie Fortunato, and Paige Novick. Access will cost a to-be-determined annual fee and the prices will most likely range from $50 to $1,000, according to WWD.
McElwee explained, "This is not a diffusion [site]. This is not Missoni for Target." But it also isn't "Tiffany & Co. or Blue Nile." It's a place where designers can market their "dream piece." SJP's role is to introduce a new item every Monday, which premium members can shop first. The site is accepting email addresses now here before it launches sometime this spring.
