Happy Met Ball Monday! A bit of a bummer to kick off the day of gawking: There will be no red carpet live stream this year, confirmed by the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Twitter this morning.
@dani_pitter There is no livestream this year. Please follow us on Instagram and Twitter for live updates from the red carpet. #MetGala

The production of the red carpet live stream in past years was endearingly choppy, in a way we speculate wasn't exactly what Vogue would like to repeat—especially for the Special Edition White Tie Red Carpet. Highlights from past years included unknowingly mic'd photographers heckling celebrities for photos (then complaining about them), model Hilary Rhoda's lackluster interview skills, and the terrific number of celebs and fashion people who didn't realize when they were on camera.
